Housing Readiness Program
The Housing Readiness Program aims to create sustainable housing opportunities for women and their families. The program is supported by a collaborative effort between community-based organizations seeking to alleviate housing issues faced by women living in East Brooklyn communities and is funded by Citi Community Development.
The Housing Readiness Program’s goal is to ensure that long-term residents have equal opportunity to apply and obtain new and renovated housing constructed in the communities of East Brooklyn, particularly in East New York. The program also addresses women who are at risk of losing their housing due to poor financial housing.
Residents interested in the program will participate in a series of workshops including money management and credit counseling and may benefit from a savings program already in place at the LDCENY.
