Clients meet with a financial counselor to assess their personal financial situation, and to establish goals and strategies. Counseling sessions can be weekly, biweekly or monthly and requires active and progressive participation from the client in order to see results. Credit is so important in almost every aspect of life that having a poor credit score and history may hinder an individual's ability to build wealth and grow. Building your credit means you have access to better interest rates, can help you save money on the long run, and may even impact your ability to get employment and access resources. An important aspect of life is being prepared for rainy days and unforeseen circumstances. At the LDCENY one of our goals is to teach our clients the importance of saving for these inopportune moments and to establish financial confidence in their future through financial tools and support strategies. We provide monthly Credit and Money Management workshops to help our clients move from debt dependency to financial independence. Check out our calendar of events for the next workshop. |
