One of LDCENY’s most important goals is to create jobs and economic opportunity by helping local residents start, manage and grow their own businesses. The WBC/Brooklyn Enterprise Center (BEC) at the LDCENY offers a variety of services in English and in Spanish that support entrepreneurs. The Women's Business Center/Brooklyn Enterprise Center also runs the Entrepreneurial Assistance Program, and the Economic Development Program, assisting women and minorities to start and grow their businesses.

Small business owners—and aspiring entrepreneurs—who join the BEC can take advantage of training, counseling, technical assistance, and legal services. We serve people at all stages of their enterprise:
Established entrepreneurs
Start-up businesses
Emerging entrepreneurs who are thinking about launching a business

Take advantage of BEC’s training resource! We offer classes and workshops as well as individual counseling. In order to take advantage of our services you need to attend one of our monthly orientation sessions. Check out our calendar of events.
