The East Brooklyn Business Improvement District (EBBID) is a not for profit Tax exempt organization formed in 1983 by property owners, businesses, and other interest groups in this community. The Geographical area is located within 40-block area, which also encompasses an industrial park. Most of the businesses here are of the light manufacturing, or distribution in nature. There is a commercial strip on the southern border of the EBBID. The EBBID also has a functioning Community with several religious organizations, and pockets of residential areas. We here at the EBBID in conjunction with the Local Development Corporation of East New York, provide and develop a wide variety of programs to promote and foster a more positive environment for those who are working, living and visiting our community.
